Job Title: Parts Advisor
Location: Corby, Northamptonshire
Salary: £30,000 – £35,000
Hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm

Job Description:
Pioneer Plant, the official Develon dealer for East Midlands and East Anglia, is seeking a Parts Advisor to join our dynamic team. As the first point of contact for parts enquiries, you’ll play a vital role in delivering exceptional service to customers, colleagues, and trade partners alike. This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional with experience in the agricultural, automotive, or plant machinery industry to thrive in a supportive and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be the first point of contact for all parts enquiries, providing a friendly and professional service
  • Handle customer enquiries over the phone and face-to-face, ensuring prompt and efficient support
  • Identify and order parts, working closely with the Service and Sales departments
  • Book parts to job cards and raise invoices for external customers
  • Package parts for delivery and ensure they are sent to the correct destinations
  • Work closely with manufacturers and suppliers to manage day-to-day enquiries and handle stock checks
  • Ensure the Goods Received process for all incoming parts is administered and maintained in a timely manner
  • Return parts to manufacturers and suppliers as needed
  • Promote marketing campaigns and offers to drive additional sales opportunities
  • Identify and act on opportunities to sell additional parts or services to customers
  • Support the department in achieving profitability targets

Requirements:

  • Knowledge and experience in the agricultural, automotive, or plant machinery industry
  • A good level of computer literacy with proven experience and a sound user knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels
  • A proven track record in customer-facing and over-the-phone sales
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
  • Honest and professional, with high levels of integrity
  • A team player, willing to collaborate and support colleagues
  • A focus on exceeding customer expectations and delivering a high standard of service
  • Full UK driving license required
