Job Title: PDI Engineer
Location: Corby, Northamptonshire
Salary: £18 – £19 per hour

Location

• Office based – Monday to Friday, flexibility required around business needs
• 45 + hours, including the paid breaks, including occasional weekends (predominantly Saturdays) which are paid at time and a half.
• Within a reasonable commute of Corby.

Role Profile

As a PDI Engineer, you will have a strong knowledge and understanding of heavy equipment, focusing on ensuring new and existing equipment is in top condition before delivery to the customer. This role involves inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, as well as installing accessories and documenting the process to the company standard. You will also collaborate with other teams to address any issues found during the inspection. You will have previous experience in heavy machinery, with the ability to adapt within a fast-paced environment, whilst maintaining strong relationships.

• Full UK Driving licence
• Previous experience in plant machinery or agricultural or automotive
• Strong organisational and communication skills
