Job Title: Sales & Service Office Administrator
Location: Corby, Northamptonshire
Salary: £28,000 – £30,000 (dependent on experience)
Hours: Full-Time, 45 hours per week, including 1 hour per day paid breaks

About the Role:
Pioneer Plant, the official Develon dealer for the East Midlands and East Anglia, is looking for a Sales & Service Office Administrator to join our dynamic and fast-paced team in Corby. Working closely with the Sales Office Controller, Service Controller, Warranty Manager and the wider sales and service teams, this is a key role supporting the smooth day-to-day running of our admin operations across both departments.

Key Responsibilities:
Sales Administration

  • Weekly stock checks and list distribution to the sales team
  • Processing deal sheets and ensuring trade-in machine details are accurate
  • Conducting HPI checks on trade-in equipment
  • Calculating salesperson commissions
  • Coordinating invoicing with customers and finance companies
  • Liaising with the internal finance team on trade-ins, finance invoicing, and subsidy claims
  • Registering machines on manufacturer and internal systems
  • Purchasing warranty packages and applying for OEM rebates
  • Managing engine warranty registrations
  • Hire fleet invoicing and managing hire contracts
  • Providing cover for the Sales Office Controller when required

Service Administration

  • Uploading machine services to the Develon portal
  • Installing sold machines on the My Develon platform and dealer management system
  • Liaising with the warranty team for warranty job invoicing
  • Monitoring machine performance and communicating with customers
  • Purchasing service-related items and managing purchase order allocations with internal finance
  • Assisting with incoming customer calls as a second point of contact
  • Providing cover for the Service Controller during absence

Requirements:

  • Experience in the agricultural, automotive or plant machinery industry preferred
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Good general IT skills, including knowledge of Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively under pressure
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Honest, professional and reliable, with a strong sense of integrity
  • A team player who is happy to support others when needed
  • Full UK driving licence
